Welcome to my blog...

I am currently working on a mega yacht in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We plan on heading to the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean for the winter. We made the crossing from Europe in October. Mike and I have had a great time thus far and look forward to our next adventures.

“I have learned in this industry that flexibility is a must and change is a constant”. If you are viewing this Blog, chances are you are far away from me. I miss everyone so much, but really am living my life to the fullest. I am experiencing new things everyday and gaining valuable maritime knowledge. Thanks for checking in on Mike and I, don’t forget to leave a comment! ~ Danielle

Shout out to my babies

I just can't help it. I get a couple of beers in me I start REALLY missing my family (If you need my reasons for drinking beer: it's Sat, it's Carolina Gamecocks football (we lost), and Mike is watching Indy car racing). By family, I mean MY family i.e. my babies. I can talk to my mom, dad, and friends, but not my babies. I think this fact makes it harder for me to get over being so far away. For example, I caught Mike staring at me today. I ask, "why"? He says he is "being Dexter". I miss Dexter's stare, him just sitting there starring at me like there is nothing more in the world to do. Anyway, this is for them... Tucker, Dexter, and Monkey. Also to my extended family: Titus (my "little sister"), Smokey, Ernie, Burt, Sadie, Angel, and Benji.
Thanks again to my bestest friends in the entire world for taking over my responsibilities: Sarah, Julie, Dad & Wanda. I love you all more than you will ever realize!!

Hey Daniellie! Glad you are having so much fun with your new computer. If I want to put pictures side by side, I usually import them into Microsoft Publisher and "group" them, then save them as a jpeg file. Does this help? I know there has to be a way to put them side by side just using blogger (maybe making them smaller, and one left-adjusted and one right-adjusted). I should have put this in an email...
