Welcome to my blog...

I am currently working on a mega yacht in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We plan on heading to the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean for the winter. We made the crossing from Europe in October. Mike and I have had a great time thus far and look forward to our next adventures.

“I have learned in this industry that flexibility is a must and change is a constant”. If you are viewing this Blog, chances are you are far away from me. I miss everyone so much, but really am living my life to the fullest. I am experiencing new things everyday and gaining valuable maritime knowledge. Thanks for checking in on Mike and I, don’t forget to leave a comment! ~ Danielle

Halloween on the horizon

We went to Port Ludlow, Washington on Tuesday to visit with our friends, Jud & Thea, and to meet Jud's kids, Ellie & Jr. We also met the (3) cats. We had a great dinner of halibut with a yogurt/dill sauce, salad, and a nice red wine. We carved pumpkins and cooked the seeds...yum! The pumpkins were carved per Ellie's request- she even drew the designs before hand so Mike could carve them just right. He did an awesome job... I didn't know he was such an artist!
The kitty in the picture is Callie and she is posing as my Halloween cat.
