We are counting down the days. It is kind of hard to imagine leaving Wanderbird for good. I was just getting use to her and living in Victoria, British Columbia. As I've said before change is a constant in this industry. On-the-other-hand, it is fun to have to be flexible and embrace change. We are getting very excited about our drive home. I can't wait to go skiing in Utah! My friend from Summerville, Bubba, is meeting us in the desert in Utah to go camping with us. How exciting!!
I probably won't have any pictures for awhile, for I've already packed my camera. I could get it out, but trying to stay organized. I'm proud that we are able to move across country in one truck and able to sleep in it too. Oh, I'll have to get you a picture of Mike's handy work. The box in the back of the truck has progressed into a complete bed! He went yesterday and bought this incredible foam to put on top, probably more comfy than my bed I had at home.
Welcome to my blog...
I am currently working on a mega yacht in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We plan on heading to the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean for the winter. We made the crossing from Europe in October. Mike and I have had a great time thus far and look forward to our next adventures.
“I have learned in this industry that flexibility is a must and change is a constant”. If you are viewing this Blog, chances are you are far away from me. I miss everyone so much, but really am living my life to the fullest. I am experiencing new things everyday and gaining valuable maritime knowledge. Thanks for checking in on Mike and I, don’t forget to leave a comment! ~ Danielle
